Manage your Google One Storage space and delete all unread Email at Once

Google One provides 15GB storage space for free to Google users. Which is used to store photo, documents, and your emails. Primarily the store is utilized by Google photos, Google Drive and Gmail.

Managing Gmail Storage

You can remove old (not required) emails by using a search option in Gmail. Normally we use the search box for searching in Gmail, but it can offer more than that. Search option in Gmail become much more advanced, so you can use logical queries in your search.

 When you click on show search option the window open shown below.

Now we can get back the storage space by using the following steps. 

We can remove the Email having big attachments by using "has: attachment large:10M" in the search box. You can change the size of attachment depending upon your requirement.

Now when you select all checkbox, it only selects only 50 emails on the page. To select all Emails which match this search click on "select all conversations that match this search" and then click the Delete button.

Now in the second step, we can remove all unread conversations. For that we use "has: unread".Then again click on "select all conversations that match this search" to select all the unread emails. Now just click the Delete button to clear the Emails.

By these two steps, you can get back your storage space. 

We can also apply Filters and Blocked Addresses settings. For that open "Settings"  in Gmail and then click on  "Filters and Blocked Addresses". Here you can apply filter and block email addresses to stop unnecessary emails. This helps you to save storage space.

Managing Google Photo storage

Now we can save storage space by change the setting in  Google Photo Settings from "Original" to "High  Quality" then click "Recover Storage".

It compresses all your photos and videos without compromising with their quality and saves the storage.
