Zoom & Frame Rate Feature of Google Meet:
Google Meet, its popular service, will be adding a new feature. The frame rate will be set appropriately during video conferencing with this new feature. In addition, the new feature will allow users to zoom in on the face in the frame.
Its new feature will automatically adjust the frame rate before any video conferencing starts, helping to ensure that all users appear the same in the conference. However, during video conferencing, individuals will be able to set their own frame rate, i.e. manually. The user will be able to control what appears in the frame and what does not.
Google has also stated that the administrator will not be able to control this new feature. This feature will be disabled by default, so users will have to enable it to use it.
Live Streaming feature has also been added:
Livestream Google Meet sessions directly on YouTube. Previously, the company added another useful feature to Google Meet. Users can now livestream Google Meet sessions directly on YouTube thanks to this new feature.
Previously, users would record the conference on Google Meet and then share it on YouTube. However, the new feature has solved the problem. Users will be able to pause, replay, or watch a presentation at a later time with the help of this feature.
How can this feature be used?
• Google Meet admin users will now be able to livestream meetings on YouTube, according to Google.
• To access this feature, navigate to the Activities panel of the meeting on Google Meet.
• Here, you must tap or click on 'Live Streaming.'
• Next, choose the YouTube channel where you want to share the meeting's livestream link.
Setting before starting Live Streaming:
To begin using this feature, Google Meet users first should obtain approval for the live streaming process on their YouTube channel. When Google allows live streaming on the channel, users will be able to use this new Google Meet feature.
When these features will be made available?
Google has announced that this new feature on its videoconferencing platform Google Meet will be available to all users on November 2nd, 2022.
